Say goodbye to mosquito bites in Singapore with ORIGIN's mosquito control solution

Mosquito Control Singapore

Mosquitoes are deadly because they transmit viruses that cause fatal diseases. Even if the viruses are not fatal, the reactions can range from mild irritation to swelling. The common species in Singapore are Aedes, Anopheles, and Culex, which breed rapidly in even the smallest pools of stagnant water in nearby areas.

Effective mosquito control is crucial for a healthier living environment and to reduce the likelihood of disease. Get the help of a professional to eliminate any breeding possibility of mosquitoes in and around your area.

Conventional Mosquito Control in Singapore

Fogging: It involves directing pesticide smoke to kill adult mosquitos and insects.

Larviciding: It targets mosquito larvae using pesticides like BTI dunks and temephos dunks in probable breeding spots.

Source Reduction: It is the most effective method as it eliminates breeding sites by removing stagnant water.

ORIGIN does offer a combination of fogging, larviciding, and source reduction if this is your preference. However we do recommend our 3+1 Mosquito Management Programme instead. Our ultimate aim is to keep mosquitoes out of your premises. Trust ORIGIN for expert mosquito control in Singapore in both Residential and Commercial spaces.

Signs of Infestation

  • Seeing Mosquitos: Spotting mosquitoes indoors or outdoors, especially at dawn or dusk, is a potential sign of infestation.
  • Hearing Buzz: The irritating whine near the ears is a sure giveaway.
  • Finding wrigglers: Finding mosquito larvae in stagnant water means they’re breeding.
  • Getting bitten often: Frequent bites, mostly during dawn and dusk, indicate infestation.
  • Spotting them resting: Finding mosquitos resting in cool, dark places during the day.

If you notice these signs, act fast and call us.

Prevention Tips

  • Fill and repair ground depressions.
  • Regularly clear blocked drains and roof gutters.
  • Cover unused gully traps and toilet bowls.
  • Empty standing water from buckets, watering cans, plant pot plates, etc.
  • Change water in flower vases, plant pot plates, and water containers frequently.
