BEHAVIOUR
Javan Mynas mate for life and share the responsibilities of incubating the eggs and caring for their chicks.

Javan Mynah build their nests out of twigs, grasses and other plant materials, and line them with soft materials like feather and hair.

They build nests in tree hollows and building crevices.

FEEDING
Javan Mynas are opportunistic feeders and feed on a wide range of food including fruits, insects, small animals (eg. lizards) and food scraps. 

IDENTIFY
Javan Mynas have a distinctive white patch on their wings that can be seen when they’re in flight.

NOISE
They have a distinctive loud and raucous call that become a nuisance when they gather in large groups, typically near hawker centres.

HABIT
House Crows are known to steal food from other birds and animals, including smaller birds and rodents.

Their high-pitched cawing is loud and distinctive which can become a nuisance when they are in large groups.
