Established in 1991 after an acquisition of a large local pest control company, Quicksilver Pte Ltd, ORIGIN Exterminators Pte Ltd has risen to a prominent position in the local pest control market and has extended its reach into neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia.

(1) ORIGIN Termite Baiting System Incorporating Exterra^TM (OTBS)
This is a system that achieves complete termite colony elimination. It also functions as a termite monitoring system for residential and commercial properties. The termite system delivers outstanding performance, along with peace of mind, whilst being far more environmentally friendly than traditional termite treatments that involve pumping gallons of pesticide into the ground.

(2) ORIGIN Mosquito Management incorporating Bti
ORIGIN has established the use of biological mosquito control as a viable and effective method of mosquito management. Using a naturally occurring soil bacterium, BTI, which specifically targets mosquito larvae, this is a radical departure from conventional mosquito treatments, both in concept and methodology. Furthermore, this method is environmentally sustainable, and does not affect the ecological balance in nature, as it does not harm useful insects like dragonflies.

(3) ORIGIN Pest Detection Dog Unit
ORIGIN has established Southeast Asia's only pest detection dog unit comprising of two highly trained detection dog: Pippa the Termite Detection Dog, and Sparky, the Bedbug Detection Dog. With their highly trained sense of smell, these two dogs are able to hone in on the hiding locations of the specific pests they have been trained to sniff out, allowing us to follow up and track down these nasty critters where they hide. Furthermore this method is highly efficient, with the dogs taking less than half the equivalent time a human pest management technician would need to inspect the location, and highly accurate with the dogs offering 98% accuracy on locating the pests versus a 45% accuracy rate with human inspections.
