We are especially concerned about mosquitoes and dengue. The fight against dengue is of utmost importance to ORIGIN. Water retaining in puddles, plant pot saucers, and old tires caused by occasional rainfall in many areas would become breeding grounds for common house mosquitoes, leading to the spreading of the dengue fever. Dengue fever is an acute fever caused by the dengue virus. The dengue virus enters the human blood circulation through the bite of Aedes mosquitoes. ORIGIN uses Bti (Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis), a bio-larvicide, used to kill mosquito larvae and a rescuer from the deadly dengue mosquito.
