ORIGIN Mosquito Management services using Bti is a radical departure from conventional treatments, both in concept and methodology. Conventional mosquito control techniques involve thermal fogging whereby a pesticide is mixed with diesel and introduced into the environment in the form of a fog. The pesticide introduced is an adulticide which targets only adult mosquitoes. Besides being relatively ineffective for mosquito control, this method also harms beneficial insects and may affect individuals with respiratory problems.
